I do plant annual poppies which resemble much more closely the fields of poppies we enjoyed every spring in Italy....This is a perennial poppy I dug up from my parents house. My parents home is now for sale. I look forward to these vibrant blooms every Spring reminding me of that special space.

The generousity of this community blows my mind! I had a gentleman stop by (I failed to catch his name 🥴) who had bought 18 plants this past weekend from our stand while we were away. He stopped by to pay the remainder of his balance and the get another tomato!
Today, I will be planting out some lilac (two varieties), solomons seal, wisteria, and rose of sharon. My friend Vivian so kindly split her perennials in trade for some tomato and pepper plants! We had a ton of blank space to fill so this was a economic way to get some beautiful pollinator varieties in the beds!

My friend came over to pick up some plant babies she had ordered...and brought me seed gifts! Thank you Jennifer! ...
