❤️⚪️💛Maryland State Fair | All Other Breeds Show❤️⚪️💛
Showing a Highland against “normal” breeds of cows is like wearing a ballgown to do an oil change🤣

We turned a lot of heads and walked away with a division championship at the first weekend of the Maryland State Fair !!!!🥇 We are so proud to represent the breed in such a big capacity and had a blast doing it!!

💈A special thanks to Matt and Colby for helping me get Nora ready for her class- she looked absolutely stunning!! 📸Thanks to my mom for these photos!! Professional shots coming soon!!

We will be back to compete again on September 11th at 6pm for the Highland specific show! Save the date and come cheer us on!!🥇

🌽Corn Stalk Volunteer Day 2026!!🌽
Boy oh boy did we need the help of this crew!!! We knocked out 10bins of corn stalk bunches in just under two hours and everyone absolutely crushed it!!💪

We of course had to finish the morning with pizza and cow time- and it was the perfect ending to the event!

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has helped this week!! Truly couldn’t pull this off without you all!!🫶

🍼✌️Two Weeks Early and Incredibly Tiny✌️🍼
AnnaBelle welcomed her first calf yesterday, and honestly, I was totally caught off guard! She was still a little over two weeks out from her due date and this little girl is TINY.

We like to see calves born around 55-65lbs at birth, but this girl will be lucky to be 25-30lbs. I am hoping to get a weight on her today as long as mama cooperates.

We are definitely borderline premature and that comes with some extra close attention but so far she’s nursing on her own and going to the bathroom which are huge milestones! We’ll be keeping a close eye on this little one, but welcome to the world baby girl!!🎀

In the winter we host “Cocoa, Coffee and Cows” but in the summer we’re all about the lemonade!!!🍋

Proudly introducing “Lemons and Long Horns” with Fresh Squeezed Please !!

Event Overview
🍋One hour on the farm
🍋Squeeze, shake and sip your own custom lemonade creation- think DIY lemonade bar!
🍋Hands on time and photo opportunities with highland cows
🍋$15/ticket, 3yo and under are free (does not include their own cup of lemonade)

💐🐂That’s a wrap on Blooms and Bovines for 2026!!!🐂💐
Weekend two brought us one gorgeous sunny day and one hazy rainy day! Both days were great in their own way and we got plenty of time loving on cows, arranging flowers and soaking up time on the farm!🚜

Thank you to everyone who attended this event for an incredible year one!! This one will be back on the calendar for 2027 and we already can’t wait!!😍
