POV: You find a rental community that feels more like a resort getaway. ✨

Welcome to Abrazo at Waterway Hills in South Carolina where luxury amenities and coastal charm come together just minutes from North Myrtle Beach.

Imagine spending your afternoons by the resort-style pool, meeting friends for a game of pickleball, or practicing your swing on the putting green. There’s also a 24-hour fitness center, a dog park for your furry bestie, private work pods for remote work days, a gourmet coffee bar, valet trash service, and even EV charging stations for added convenience.

And now let’s talk about the homes. Abrazo offers spacious 2 and 3-bedroom cottages and townhomes designed for long-term living with a modern coastal feel. Inside, you’ll find open floor plans, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and high-end finishes that make everyday life feel elevated.

Located near Highway 31 and Highway 17, you’re close to Tanger Outlets, Barefoot Landing, restaurants, shopping, and the beach while still enjoying the peaceful “suburban oasis” vibe this community is known for.

If you’ve been looking for a stylish long-term rental near the Grand Strand, Abrazo at Waterway Hills might just be your next home. 🏡✨

POV: You just discovered one of the most unique hidden gem restaurants in Myrtle Beach and now you can’t stop thinking about it. 🤤

We recently tried Super Ali Baba and WOW… every single dish tasted homemade and full of flavor. We started with traditional Uzbek hot tea while waiting for all the fresh-made dishes to come out.

Then came the samsas and honestly… I’m still thinking about them. We tried the beef, lamb, and potato samsa and each one had its own delicious flavor. The pastry was flaky, golden, and baked fresh with savory fillings inside that were SO comforting and flavorful.

The steamed beef manti were basically little pillows of comfort… juicy, flavorful dumplings that melted in your mouth. The Lagman soup was rich, hearty, and packed with tender noodles and beef. And the Uzbek Plov? Absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned rice with tender beef that felt like pure comfort food.

We also tried the cabbage rolls and the traditional Uzbek bread which paired perfectly with everything on the table.

And dessert? The Medovick layered honey cake was the perfect sweet ending.

One thing I loved is that so many menu items are made completely fresh, so some dishes actually need to be ordered 24 hours in advance. They do have daily staple items available too, but it just shows how much care goes into the food here.

If you love trying authentic international cuisine, add this Myrtle Beach hidden gem to your foodie list immediately.

Dinner with friends + chef-driven specials = the perfect night at O.A.K. Prime 😍✨

This week’s features menu was stacked with elevated comfort dishes and every plate brought something different to the table.

I started with the Rock Shrimp & Sweet Corn Chowder and WOW… creamy, flavorful, and loaded with that perfect sweet corn richness balanced with seafood goodness. 🥣🦐 Then for my entrée I went with the 14 oz Bison Ribeye finished with housemade Caymus Cabernet compound butter paired with Smoked Gouda Gratin Potatoes. The bison was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. 🥩✨

Ryan ordered their almost famous Short Rib dish instead of the featured ribs and honestly… zero regrets. Fall-apart tender and full of that rich slow-braised flavor O.A.K. Prime is known for. 🤤

Latisa went with the Chilean Sea Bass Presentation served over baby spinach & lemon risotto with roasted garlic confit asparagus, topped with a grilled petite lobster tail and finished with a sun-dried tomato beurre monte. It looked just as incredible as it tasted. 🐟🦞

And for dessert? The Peach Cobbler Cheesecake made its way to the table and let’s just say… you KNOW I had a bite or two 🍑🍰😂

Also featured this week was the Pomegranate-Gochujang Glazed St. Louis Ribs for anyone wanting something sweet, savory, and smoky.

If you’re looking for an upscale Myrtle Beach dining experience with rotating chef features that keep things exciting, O.A.K. Prime needs to be on your list. ✨

There’s just something special about a thoughtfully curated farm-to-table dining experience. 🌱✨ Today I had the pleasure of experiencing the Farm to Table tasting menu at the Fowler Dining Room at The International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, featuring The Coastal, Southern Soul Restaurant and every course told a story of local flavor and Southern creativity.

We started with a chilled summer squash soup topped with zucchini relish, fried squash blossoms, and fresh herbs that tasted like summer in a bowl. The fresh local ingredients truly shined throughout every course.

The organic fennel & kohlrabi salad with community garden greens and benne carrot vinaigrette was light, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. Then came one of my favorite bites of the day the “Chicken Bog” rice croquette with braised collard greens and pimento aioli… a Southern comfort dish elevated in the best way possible.

The sautéed golden tilefish paired with cone cabbage, carrot timbale, Anson Mills grits, and lemon beurre blanc was absolutely stunning. Rich, fresh, coastal flavors with that perfect Southern touch.

And dessert? A roasted local peanut tart with strawberry compote and vanilla bean ice cream that ended the experience on the sweetest note. 🍓🥜🍨

I love seeing the incredible talent coming out of our local culinary community and the passion behind showcasing regional farms and ingredients. This was more than lunch it was an experience. 👏

This was my favorite breakfast spot in Aruba I got The Dutch pancake with ham, cheese and scallions and it came with a small salad on top with a honey mustard dressing. Ryan got the eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. We even had a little visitor. They have an extensive list to choose from. Will be back again!
