UNCommon Meet & Eat works every day to bring special experiences to lunch guests…the mix and mingle and getting to know more about what’s happening in our communities we call home. On August 18th at Swig & Swine, we learned about how our downtown is growing for the future from Jason Greene, Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance. The Arts & Innovation District is thriving and growing for what’s next. Uncommon Meet & Eat Monthly Lunch along with community supporters Kiwanis Club of Myrtle Beach and Market Common Veterans raised awareness, interest and money to support the supplies needed by local artists to beautify our city during the ongoing construction. The 50/50 winner Tamara Miller gave her winnings back to MB Downtown Alliance.

The Lunch Ladies deliver pizza donated by Fratelli’s to Sea Haven Youth Services Center, Myrtle Beach today. Kiwanis Club of Myrtle Beach members sign up to provide meals monthly. August 11th it is our turn, and a genuine delight it was to give back in our community. We met terrific folks passionate about lifting others up.

Saturday July 12th, the lunch ladies went shopping at “Christmas in July,” a craft fair sponsored by Market Common Veterans. We received some unexpected donations for future lunch raffles benefiting non profit organizations! We hope these generous folks attend and introduce themselves! Thank you!
