Good morning! Sorry I've been gone for a while, I had some medical issues to take care of.

I'm still selling eggs as well as veggies and fruit. I will post, as they becomes available.

I used to raise and sell pastured, grass fed beef, lamb & chicken. It all started with 6 hens and a rooster that my son Ron gave me.

now I sell veggies and fruit in the summer and eggs as available.

I harvested the peppers before the freeze. I'm selling the large ones, 2 for a dollar. the medium ones 3 for a dollar, and the small ones 4 for a dollar.

With the air quality being at the hazardous level, I have made the difficult decision to NOT set up my stand at the Farmers Market tomorrow.

I will be back next Saturday.

If anyone is interested in picking up veggies at the farm, call me with your order.

The tomato plants love this warm-weather! I will have a lot of very large beautiful ripe Tomatoes at the farmers market Saturday.
There will be a flea market in our normal parking lot at the Elks This weekend. They have moved us to the middle parking lot, for this weekend only.
Stop by and see what else I have to sell this weekend you can also check out the flea market while you're there.

The weather has finally warmed up and the Garden is appreciating it!
For those who don't know, I've moved my Farm Stand Down to the Elks parking lot across from Tommy's, joining the recently formed community market.
Here's a picture of some of the things I will be bringing from left to right Persian cucumber, lemon cucumbers, a variety of peppers, small squash, large squash. I also have broccoli, green onions, my ' famous ' chopped salad, blueberries and figs.
I also have several flavors of Lite, ( less sugar ) jam. Those of you on KETO will be happy to know that I've made strawberry rhubarb Jam as well as blueberry Jam, both sweetened with monk fruit.
I'll also be selling garlic and candy apple red onions, for Jeannie, as well as her shopping bags, kitchen towels, and bag holders.

The weather report is for serious rain tomorrow morning.

I will not be able to practice social distancing, therefore I will not be setting up the farm stand this week-end.

I will be making my chopped salad tomorrow, Saturday, if you would like a bag, please PM me before noon.

As always, you can call and place an order for fresh picked veggies. Right now, the following are available:
Green onions.
Rhubarb.
Swiss Chard.
Loose leaf lettuce - Red Sails, Red OakLeaf, mixed baby greens, salad green leaf, and gourmet salad blend.
Radishes.
Chopped cabbage/kale salad, if ordered before noon on Saturday,
Kale - green curly leaf, Luciano, purple leaf.
Limited amounts of:
Brocolli, asparagus, and artichokes.

I also have seedlings for sale: yellow pear, red cherry type, artichokes,and strawberry.

Last,but not least! Apple Butter,Jams,& Jellies, sweetened rhubarb.
Yesterday I was able to harvest enough strawberries to make Strawberry/Rhubarb jam! It is so yummy!
All of my jams and jellies have half the normal sugar, making it better for you than full sugar. P.S. you will not miss the sugar.

I also have Keto friendly strawberry jam, and canned rhubarb, sweetened with Monk Fruit.

The garden is finally doing well enough that I can open my farmstand. I will be at third and Main Street in Myrtle Creek on Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM throughout the summer.
My stand is located on the north side of the good dog bakery.
This Saturday, May 23, I will have the following items for sale.

My handmade chopped cabbage/kale salad.
Green onions
Four different types of Loose leaf lettuce, washed, and packaged, ready to eat.
Radishes.
Several kinds of ‘lite’ homemade jam and jelly. As well as apple butter and canned sweetened rhubarb.
Free range, farm fresh chicken eggs.
Miscellaneous plants: Strawberries, artichoke, and tomato in 4 inch pots.
I also have homemade rustic flower planters filled with flowers. Or you can order one to be made for you to plant yourself.

Please remember to bring your shopping bags, and empty egg cartons.

I accept the Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP ) and WIC checks.

I will have a larger selection of veggies as the season progresses. I will also have ‘ in season ‘ local fruits as they become available .

As time permits, I will have Keto treats for sale.

I take orders for eggs and produce in season throughout the year.
Customers call, place an order, and let me know when they want to pick it up. I leave the order at the gate in an ice chest, until this year.
My son built an "egg barn" that sets on a large box for UPS deliveries. The Loft area has a slot for the money to drop into a lock box.

16 half pints of apple butter! This is the best I've ever made, so smooth!
This will be available for sale at my Farm Stand tomorrow.
I will also have corn on the cob, tomatoes- large and small , a variety of peppers, cucumbers, and squash, including butternut.
Stop by and check it out. I'll be in Myrtle Creek at 3rd and Main from 9 to 2 on Saturday and noon to 3 in Riddle also at 3rd and Main, on Sunday.
