This is the remaining dahlias out of the field today. This morning it was 30 degrees. Dahlias are hot blooded and really don’t like the freeze. But, I did find a few hanging on for one last bundle. Changing seasons.

THANK YOU!

You made this weekend the best End of Season ever. It was good to see all of you. You kept us busy! And for that, thank you. This morning was 37 degrees. It was a good reminder of why we made the decision to end the 2026 season. Some of you had commented that it seems like dahlias are only around for a short time, and it does to us as well. But the work does not stop once we close the field down. We would love to hear what your favorite view was in the field. We put some of our favorite views from today.

On Tuesday we will start the process of digging all the tubers out of the ground. So many of you wanted to know what comes next. Follow our page to see how we dig, clean, dry, and put the tubers away for safe keeping.

Once again we are extending our heartfelt gratitude for all of you. You made this a very good year for us.

**END OF SEASON**

We are at the end of our dahlia season. Our open hours will be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. We have plenty of dahlias to cover any event you may have, grace your kitchen table, share with your neighbors and friends, take to your favorite person, or anything else you can think of.

Next week we will start the task of digging tubers and putting them away for their long winter nap.

Time is running out to visit the Dahlia Field before we close for the season. Please call or send a message to schedule a time Monday through Thursday. We will have the gate open for you to enjoy the field. You do the choosing and we do the cutting of what you want to take home.
