When you live in a rural part of the Big Island, you learn to make do. Here’s my 1st dragonfruit ice cream 🍨 I made with 4+ ingredients I had: frozen dragonfruit saved from no power during Hurricane Lala, a can of condensed milk and coconut milk, tsp of vanilla, with a bit of salt. Puree in a blender and freeze for a few hours. We all scream for dragonfruit ice cream! I’m learning to be self-sufficient without suffering from treats I’m craving.
