Summer Processing Information

We have a limited number of reservations available for our upcoming processing date. Reservations may be purchased as a whole or half cow depending on your family’s needs and freezer space.

Our cattle are locally raised here in East Texas and are sold by hanging weight with custom cut selections, so your beef is packaged the way your family actually eats. Our cattle are always grass fed, with supplemental grain used during finishing for added quality and marbling.

Summer Processing Batch
• Estimated July 2026 pickup

Whole Cow — $6.50/lb hanging weight
• $250 deposit
• Custom cut selections
• Estimated hanging weight: 550–650 lbs

Half Cow — $7.50/lb hanging weight
• $250 deposit
• Custom cut selections
• Estimated hanging weight: 275–325 lbs

Estimated hanging weights are provided for planning purposes and may vary.

Specialty items may incur additional processing fees charged by the processor.

Deposits become non-refundable once finishing has begun unless another customer fills the reservation spot.

Reservations are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once processing slots are full, additional reservations will be placed on a waiting list.

Message us with any questions or to reserve your spot.

Our first garlic harvest ever, and it was definitely a learning year.

We ended up with quite a few smaller bulbs (not pictured), but we learned a lot about spacing, timing, and what we want to do differently next season. Still, there’s something rewarding about pulling up garlic we grew ourselves here at Naconiche Farms.

Every season teaches you something. Next year’s crop will be even better and hopefully we’ll have enough to share with y’all too.

We planted our first fruit tree today !

East Texas weather was beautiful and we took advantage of it.

This one’s a plum—and it’s the start of something bigger out here at Naconiche Farms. Every tree we plant now is part of what we plan to offer down the road.

We’ve got a few more varieties going in soon, but good things take time.

What fruit trees have y’all had the best luck with around here?

Got a call that just said “bring the truck.”
Apparently someone thought carrying a calf up a hill was a good idea.

The calf was fine.
The farmer… needed rescuing.

Welcome to Naconiche Farms!

If you’re new here, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share what we do.

We are a family-run farm in the Appleby/Garrison,Tx area. While we both work full-time jobs, farming is a huge part of our life and something we’re incredibly passionate about. Our evenings, weekends, and early mornings are spent caring for our animals and building this farm for our family and community.

Farm-Raised Beef
We raise Brangus cattle on pasture and offer several ways to purchase our beef:

• Whole and Half Cows– perfect for filling your freezer with locally raised beef
• Frozen Individual Cuts – steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more available throughout the year

Our cattle are pasture-raised and typically finished with supplemental grain the last 30–60 days for optimal marbling, unless customers request grass-fed only.

Farm Fresh Eggs
We also raise chickens that produce a variety of beautiful farm fresh eggs.

Our Goal
To raise animals responsibly, care for the land, and provide our community with high-quality food at an honest price.

Here on our page we share:
• Beef availability
• Eggs when available
• Farm updates and life on the farm

We’re grateful for everyone who supports local farms and local food.

Send us a message anytime if you have questions or want to reserve beef.

This girl made the keeper list and will be part of our Blue Laced Red Wyandotte breeding pen this year

We’re focusing on calm temperament, correct shape, and clean lacing so each generation improves.

We won’t be offering this breed this season — but we’re hoping to have them available for the 2027 season!
