Great day out on the course for a great cause! ⛳️☀️

Yesterday, Valley Ag was proud to have two teams out on the greens at the Wildhorse Golf Course in Pendleton, Oregon, for the Annual Far West Agribusiness Association Golf Tournament.

Far West does incredible work supporting agribusiness through advocacy, networking, and safety training. We’re proud to back this event, which raises scholarship funds for students stepping into the future of agriculture! 🚜

When disaster hits our local ag communities, Valley Wide Cooperative and Valley Ag are proud to stand alongside our neighbors and support those who feed our region. 🌾

The massive Big Grass Fire has caused devastating loss across southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon—destroying ranches, miles of fencing, grazing lands, and critical livestock infrastructure throughout Owyhee County.

To support these ranching families as they rebuild, our community is coming together, and we encourage everyone who can to attend the Big Grass Fire Benefit Dinner & Auction!

📍 Where: Indian Creek Steakhouse (711 Main St, Caldwell, ID 83605)
📅 When: Thursday, August 27th at 5:00 PM
💛 Where Funds Go: All proceeds go directly to The Owyhee Cattlemen's Heritage Foundation—a 501(c)(3) non-profit delivering direct financial relief to affected ranchers.

Raised funds will help cover:
Fencing materials & infrastructure repairs
Purchasing emergency hay
Securing temporary grazing leases while pastures recover
Livestock trucking expenses

Thank you to our amazing ag community for the overwhelming support shown so far. Let's come together on Thursday evening to support Owyhee County ranching families when they need it most!

We were honored to donate essential supplies to support the incredible individuals working tirelessly to protect homes, livestock, and lands.

To our fellow ag retailers and industry partners: we challenge you to join us! Let’s step up together and support our local communities when they need us most. 🌾🚜💛

Exciting progress update from our Whiteson Facility!

We’re making big moves on-site as construction ramps up:

✅Demolition Complete: The old structures are officially cleared out to make way for the new!

✅Built to Last: We drilled 30 feet below the surface to create aggregate piers filled with compacted gravel, ensuring our new foundation meets all seismic codes.

✅Prep Work in Motion: Gravel has been spread across the site in preparation for the main foundation work.

🔄Fertilizer Tower Update: The tower base is currently being filled with rebar and concrete. Once that's poured and set, foundation construction will officially begin!

Stay tuned for more updates as we build to better serve our growers! 🚜

That’s a wrap on our Southwest Region Corn Field Day! 🌽

Yesterday at the Modesto Research Farm, growers got a firsthand, side-by-side look at top varieties to help plan for the next crop year.

Thank you to all the growers who came out to chat with us, and a huge shoutout to our event sponsors, HGS BioScience and Fresh Tracks Ag!

Celebrating 250 years of freedom, family, and the hardworking hands that feed our nation. 🚜🌾

As we look out across the fields today, seeing Old Glory fly high reminds us of the deep roots and rich history that make this country great. On this milestone Independence Day, we want to wish all of our Growers a happy, healthy, and safe 4th of July surrounded by family, friends, and good food.

We are incredibly thankful for the trust you place in Valley Ag season after season. It’s an honor to grow together. Happy 250th, America! ❤️🤍💙

As the USA Men’s Soccer Team faces off against Türkiye, we’ve got a classic agricultural rivalry on our hands. Türkiye currently holds the #1 spot in the world for hazelnut production, but the USA sits proudly at #2—with nearly all of that production coming straight from the hardworking growers in Oregon’s Willamette Valley!

Let’s go Team USA, and a huge shoutout to our incredible Oregon hazelnut growers who keep American agriculture competitive on the world stage! 💙❤️

⚽🌰 Friendly competition is in the air!

Next week, the USA Men’s National Team takes on Türkiye on the field. But did you know these two countries are also the world’s top hazelnut-producing nations?

🇹🇷 Türkiye ranks #1 globally in hazelnut production.
🇺🇸 The United States ranks #2, with Oregon producing nearly all of the nation’s commercial hazelnut crop.

Whether you’re cheering for Team USA or Team Türkiye, we’re proud to see hazelnuts take center stage in this global matchup.

Who are you rooting for?
