We have been waiting on our boy Abraham "ABE" to make it home from whatever adventure he has been on for over a week now. This boy has had free run of the farm for the past 9 years. He is fixed and is allowed inside anytime he wants. However he loves to hunt and sometimes takes off for a few days at a time just like a tomcat. I keep telling Jeremy, Abe is too friendly and is probably laying on someone's bed napping and taking it easy. If you live in our area and happen to see him will you send him on home please. This farm cat is truely missed 💔

We have been waiting impatiently for the Tripple Crowns to make it to this stage!! 👏 👏👏 After a tough winter, deep exhale 😌 ✨,️ we made it!! Both varieties are blooming!

A few frequently asked questions:

Yes, they are blooming early!

No, the lack of rain will not hurt them, they are irrigated.

Always think July 4th for blackberries! We will post it here if there are enough ripe to open U Pick earlier!!

We have our 1st blooms!!

Ouachitas are showing out with this warm weather. Still praying those blooms show up on the Tripple Crowns. They are taking their sweet time!

The Wild blackberries have buds but they are not opening quite yet.

For those of you looking for honey, we have to replace our bees 🐝 this year so no hopes for honey anytime soon.

It's looking like the Ouchitas are going to be just fine! Well except for the early appearance of these buds. We sure hope we are past the frosts 😯

The Tripple Crowns are looking good, just not in as big of a hurry to pop those bloom buds out. 😉 We are still seeing laterals pop out, like always about two weeks behind the Ouchitias.

We are seeing a little cane death in both varieties, but so far it is nothing to get worked up about. The year we lost them all due to the negative temps and ice we did not get to bloom stage. In another two weeks we should have a good idea of how both varieties are going to do this blackberry season. 🙏

Jeremy has been busy adding irrigation for the raspberries. Almost done!
