270-866-4215 The Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp is located in Jabez, KY.

and is the largest 4-H camp in Kentucky. Located on Lake Cumberland, it contains six miles of shoreline in its 1500 acres of rolling hills and forested land. The Lake Cumberland camp serves 21 counties for summer camp. Camp facilities include Heated cabins with toilet and shower facilities, a swimming pool with waterslide, shelter house, dining hall, country store for souvenirs and snacks, low rop

es challenge course, high element zip line, and a craft and nature building. It can accommodate 377 campers and counselors per camping session. An additional 24 campers and counselors can be accommodated by an outpost for primitive camping. The camp offers a cave and miles of nature trails for exploring. In addition, the camp provides areas for riflery, archery, canoeing and fishing, softball, football and basketball. Evening programs can be held in the shelter house or cozy campfire area

Cloverbud Camp is an opportunity for your younger kiddos to spend a weekend at camp! Youth ages 5-8 will get to experience some of the fun activities we offer in a safe and exciting way! We will offer canoeing, swimming, and even sally-down-the-ally!

Lake Cumberland 4-H Camp can make upgrades due to the hard work of its volunteers, and the organizations they are involved with. Seen in the picture below from left to right: Marissa Jett, Brad Hamilton, and Kyle Comley. Brad worked with the Parker Foundation to get the camp a $2,500 donation that will go towards renovating bathrooms. I hope everyone says a big camp THANK YOU to Brad and his family, as well as, the Parker Foundation for making this happen.

This embodies a motto for our camps which is MTJSC. This stands for, More Than Just Summer Camp. Volunteers like Brad and so many others have taken this motto to the next level, and we are so grateful for them.
