We began concocting various recipes in the winter of 2011… Initially I think we envisioned little more than a lemonade stand …. a way to test the waters, and see if in fact a market existed for our frozen treats… and an opportunity for our daughters to have some fun, and learn a bit about business as well. Little did we know just what was required, for us to actually hang a shingle and begin selling our frozen treats! But once we all got the bug… there seemed to be no turning back! The magic of our collaborative effort… we all seem to possess unique strengths… and together, managed to produce the 9 page proposal, tackle the safe serve test, locate a catering kitchen, gain our license from the health department, and produce some amazing ice cream sandwiches and frozen ice pops! Our first day of business was Saturday July 9th… and to our amazement we managed to sell out of all our frozen treats! We seem to be off to a good start…. and will see where this adventure takes us.
