Still strikingly youthful at 12 years of age, the 2014 James Cole Malbec continues to impress with its freshness, plush texture, and vibrant character. The wine opens with a deep, intense purple hue and layered aromatics of cola, vanilla, blackberry, violets, supple leather, thyme, spice, and to***co leaf.

On the palate, lush blackberry fruit unfolds alongside notes of dark plum and anise, supported by a silky mouthfeel, soft tannins, and crisp, juicy acidity that bring energy and lift. Beautifully integrated oak frames the wine with elegance and depth. Far from showing any fatigue, this Malbec remains vivid, polished, and remarkably alive.
