Thank you Lisa for believing in Greg. Majuscule began in 2009 as a side project that started, somewhat improbably, with a cat — and a serendipitous introduction to Lisa Chu, a longtime grower on Mount Veeder. She encouraged Greg to make his own wine and offered a ton each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for the inaugural vintage. For free, BTW, to see what he could do.

With just 25 cases of each, these first wines were shared with friends and family under a name that captured both intent and character — Majuscule, a word that suggests clarity and expression without excess.
