Sad news from the farm today. 💔
Unfortunately, our farm stand was robbed. Someone broke into our cash box and also stole flats of tomatoes and other supplies from the stand.
Because of this, we’re sorry to say that our farm stand will be Venmo only from now on.
For years, we’ve loved being able to operate our stand on trust. There’s something special about putting food you grew with your own hands out into the community and believing people will do the right thing.
It’s a sad truth that sometimes the selfishness of a few can take away the simple freedoms enjoyed by many. One person can break a lock, but what they really damage is trust — something far more difficult to replace.
To the overwhelming majority of you who have supported our farm, paid honestly, brought back baskets, shared kind words, and treated our little stand with respect: thank you. You are the reason we continue doing this.
We hate having to make this change, but it is necessary before we take bigger losses. This season has already been a rough one.
Thank you for understanding and for continuing to support our family farm.
