We had such an amazing time at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition Tasting! Showcasing our highly rated wines, people were fawning over the 2022 Las Brisas Vermentino and North Coast Petite Sirah! We love when we get to go to events and people who have never tried Vermentino are as excited about it as we are.

The Petite Sirah is bright and acidic. Not one to shy away from a good meal, this Petite Sirah has great fruit flavors and the tannins are soft enought to make it pairable with a charcuterie plate.

With the long cook time and simple ingredients, this Bolognese is the perfect recipe for a gathering of loved ones, or my personal favorite, save a bit to put on toast in the morning with a runny egg and freshly grated parmesan on top. Pair it with the Vermentino and a simple dandelion greens and red wine vinaigrette salad with shredded parmesan on top for a perfect meal.
