The annual Pleasant Hill Art, Wine & Music Festival returns to Downtown Pleasant Hill this weekend, bringing two days of live music, craft beverages, food, shopping and family entertainment to Contra Costa County.
Hosted by the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, the festival takes place Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 in the Crescent Drive area of Downtown Pleasant Hill. Organizers expect tens of thousands of attendees to visit throughout the weekend. Admission is free.
Festivalgoers can enjoy 13 live performances across multiple stages, including a Saturday evening concert featuring The Bell Brothers, along with regional wineries, breweries, local food vendors, artists, shopping booths and a Kids Zone.
Craft beverage offerings will include breweries such as Calicraft Brewing Co., Parliament Brewing Company, Almanac Beer Co., Canyon Club Brewery and Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan. Wine selections will feature Napa Valley wineries including J Gregory Wines and McKahn Wines.
βThis weekend is about bringing the community together while welcoming visitors from throughout the Bay Area and beyond to experience Pleasant Hill,β said Jeremy Carlson, executive director of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce.
For the first time, the festival is partnering with Bay Area Rapid Transit to offer complimentary shuttle service from the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre BART station to the festival. The shuttle partnership is sponsored by Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, with the Saturday night concert scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
