What a privilege it is to live on this earth and to be able to make a product grown in the dirt. Today we’re celebrating earth day as proud members of with the release of our first ever white wine, Assyrtiko grown in the Suisun Valley. So much history and flavor in this little grape, we can’t wait to share with you.

So, when you open this bottle, you’re not just trying something new. You’re supporting the places, people, and future of the land behind it.

As a wedding gift to each other and to our parents, when Kyle and I got married 10 years ago we researched our family trees. We knew we were both Italian but didn’t know much more than that. To our surprise, we traced both our families back to Sicily.

Four generations ago for Kyle (and three on my side), our families left Sicily to move to America in search of a better life. Both originally from the Messina province, Kyle’s maternal great great grandparents and my paternal great grandparents both moved around the same time, between 1900-1915.

Maybe it’s genetic, but we’ve always loved Sicilian wines. A few years ago, we started making a Nero d’avola grown at a friends vineyard in Suisun, and our love of the varietal only grew. So for our ten year anniversary we planned a trip to Sicily, the first in our families to visit since we left over a hundred years ago.

It was a bucket list trip in so many ways. One filled with feelings that are hard to put into words or a ten photo summary. Were our ancestors winemakers? Probably not. But I think (and hope) that they would be proud that all these generations later, our love of Sicily still runs in our blood, and the wine fills our glasses.

Thank you to for highlighting how small producers are innovating in this crazy landscape!

Covid hangover, tariffs, distributors, inflation, global warming, changing consumer habits… we can talk all day about the Who/what/when/where/why of the situation that our industry is facing. But we really feel like it comes down to one thing: create a product and a world that your customer wants to live in, and it will all work out.

The holidays can feel hectic, but the best ones always start with a vibe—a soundtrack, something festive in your glass, and wines that spark conversations and put everyone at ease.

We put together a few of our holiday essentials to help set the tone from morning to night. Start with our Holiday Playlist to get the mood right, mix up an over-the-top breakfast cocktail like our family’s famous Ramos Fizz to kick off the day, then let the wine take it from there.
