Hi Everyone!

We wanted to send out another update will everything McM that's going on these days...

*Blog #2 interview with my dad is live on the website! He chats about his first steps into winemaking at the Napa Valley CoOp.

*Max and a jazz trio will be performing live on our instagram on friday 5:00pm PT. come pop in to listen or say hi!

*We Released our 2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir! It's also on the website!
.Oh yeah... and the weather is giving us farmers whiplash! Heat wave to rain... with bloom in the vineyard to boot!

Greetings from the Mck-Mue Team!

We wanted to send out a little update from Carneros.

The entire team here at McKenzie-Mueller is doing well and staying safe & healthy. Along with the news surrounding the public health crisis, Mother Nature is keeping us on our toes and encouraging us to look forward; With the warm weather we are seeing here in California, our vines are both waking up and growing very fast!

Typically, we shy a away from over doing it via email and social media, but due to the fact that we are no longer able to see wine lovers in person, we will be trying to create positive posts and experiences via emails and social media.

So far, we have had two instagram live performances with our in house professional jazz musician, Max Bonick (see on instagram for info), Steve has been creating delicious wine and food pairing inspiration on instagram, AND we've started a blog about one of the BEST winemakers in Napa, Bob Mueller on our website. ALSO, we are always happy to schedule one on one tastings of any of our bottles you are hoping to open in your cellar.

With all of this, we hope to bring a positive note to your day.

UPDATE:

With air quality greatly improved, we are happy to invite guests to come taste with us again!

We are extremely fortunate to be able to reopen and continue with day to day operations. Many thanks go out to the personnel that worked around the clock to get the multiple fires under control. We will continue to offer help and support in any way that we can to our Napa and Sonoma neighbors as we all recover together.

Thank you for all your thoughtful e-mails and calls regarding the Napa and Sonoma Fires.

We were evacuated early Monday morning with a fire in Carneros and VERY strong winds pushing the fire south. At that point, at 3AM, we were not yet aware of the conditions of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

As of 3:00 PM today, October 11th 2017, the McKenzie-Mueller team and family are safe, our buildings still stand. The fire still rages on in the North, the East, and the West with forecasters predicting southern blowing winds returning tonight. So far, the fires have been EXTREMELY unpredictable, with embers floating in the winds. We are staying ready for any possible evacuations of the area.

Our hearts are heavy for our friends and colleagues impacted by the fires, many of whom have lost their homes.

Please note that the fires are still burning. We are under an intense smoke, and our power is in and out. We are remaining closed to tasters until further notice.

All wine shipments have been placed on hold--we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. With any issues regarding shipments, please e-mail [email protected]. We will do our best to answer.
