The fourth release of Covert Massale Selection Syrah is a sleek and spectacular expression of Coombsville terroir—seamless in structure, savory in aroma, and driven by a powerfully dark fruit core. The nose opens with dark blue and purple fruits layered with kola nut, cured salumi, and graphite, building in brooding anticipation. On the palate, waves of blackberry, boysenberry, and huckleberry swells alongside earthy notes of garrigue, to***co, and wild game for a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. Fresh red fruit acidity and fine-grain tannins carry the wine into a long, expressive finish of crushed berries, pepper, sandalwood, coffee, and lingering blue fruit.
