Budbreak is here. The vineyard is waking up again.
The 2025 vintage has moved through racking.
Rain has settled into the valley.

We’re setting the table.
Adding touches to The Studio at ELLMAN.
Spending time with friends, and with those finding us for the first time.

Some wines are made every year.
This is not one of them.

Elaine is drawn from just two barrels, selected only in the vintages that call for it. A decision made with restraint, shaped over time, and held to a higher standard of what the estate can offer.

The 2023 returns with clarity and structure. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 20 months in new French oak. Cassis, black cherry, graphite, and a quiet precision that carries through the finish.

Released each Mother’s Day in honor of the matriarch of the Ellman family, it remains one of the most personal expressions we produce.

The 2026 vintage is in motion. The 2025 wines are being racked. Guests are getting a feel for what it means to Ellevate Your Cellar. Trade gatherings are in the works. The trip to Miami to spend time with Mr. Suckling was a success. And of course, cute pups.

≡ 2025 Olive Harvest ≡⁠

Manzanilla and Mission olives have long been planted in Napa because the valley mirrors the Mediterranean regions where great oil begins. The long growing season and cool nights give these varietals the structure and clarity they need to shine.

This morning’s harvest proved it again. The fruit came off the estate with real character, shaped by the same soil and ecosystem that support our vines. Olives and grapevines grow well together, and that shared environment brings balance to both.

The olives are now heading to the mill. In February we bottle the first vintage of 2025 ELLMAN | ≡⁠VOO for our mailing list.
