Larry Hyde founded Hyde Vineyards in the heart of Napa Valley's Carneros AVA in 1979. It originally consisted of 100 acres, but has grown over the years to 192 planted acres. Hyde Vineyards has long been hailed as a grand cru-caliber site, primarily known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit, used by some of the most highly acclaimed wine producers in Napa and Sonoma Valley. In 2009, Larry and

his sons debuted their own small production Pinot Noir program and the dream of owning a winery of their own was born. This past weekend, we said farewell to our Director of Hospitality, Kat Varela.

Since joining us in 2021, Kat has worn many hats, from Tasting Room, Wine Club, & Marketing Manager to a leadership role shaped by her passion, creativity, and deep love for Hyde. She has left an undeniable mark on our team, our guests, and the experiences we’re so proud to share.

Throughout January, California residents are invited to enjoy a 2-for-1 Estate Tour and Tasting ($150 value). This experience includes a splash of wine as you tour our famed vineyard, followed by a seated tasting of four additional wines. Complete your visit with an optional $10 cheese board, good for two guests (a $25 value).

Guests who choose to join our Wine Club during this month will be gifted a barrel tasting experience with our winemaker, Alberto Rodriguez, to be redeemed during the length of their membership.

Our hearts are heavy as we witness the devastating impact of the fires in Southern California. In the wake of this tragedy, we are committed to doing our part to support those affected. Throughout the month of January, Hyde Vineyards Estate will donate a portion its sales to World Central Kitchen, an organization dedicated to providing emergency food relief in disaster stricken areas.
