Harvest is underway at Devitt Vineyard, a 20-acre site in the Yountville AVA named in honor of Steve Devitt, our founding winemaker.

This year's vintage began here, with just half an acre of Sauvignon Blanc marking our first pick of the 2026 harvest. Known for its precise, mineral-driven character and beautiful texture, fruit from this block contributes a distinctive expression to our Signature Sauvignon Blanc.

Devitt is also home to Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, with fruit from the vineyard often finding its way into Darius II and our Signature Cabernet Franc. As harvest continues, we look forward to see what this special site brings to the 2026 vintage.

As summer gives way to harvest, we invite you to gather with us at the estate for an afternoon celebrating the season ahead.

On Sunday, September 20, our Harvest Celebration brings together live bluegrass, Signature wines and a menu prepared over an open flame by our Estate Chef. Inspired by seasonal ingredients, each bite will be thoughtfully paired with wines from our Napa Valley estate, including rare library selections from our cellar.

Last week, we came together for our annual Harvest Toast, gathering with our team and family to celebrate the start of a season shaped by anticipation, dedication, and many hands working toward a shared purpose.

For nearly 25 years, Darioush has dedicated his time and leadership to expanding access to health and wellness programs throughout Napa Valley. From supporting the creation of the Darioush Community Garden to helping shape initiatives that provide fresh food, education, and wellness resources to local families, his commitment to the community continues to make a meaningful impact.

Rahmat Vineyard, named for Darioush’s father, spans 20 acres near Atlas Peak and was the first of our estate vineyards to complete veraison this season.

After several weeks of intense heat, cooler weather is slowing ripening and extending hang time, allowing the berries to build flavor and complexity. The vineyard lends depth and distinction to both our Signature Cabernet Sauvignon and Darius II, reflecting a personal legacy carried forward through the continued expression of its fruit.
