While we’ve practiced organic farming for decades, we’re thrilled to share a milestone years in the making: our Winery Estate and Salumeh Vineyard in Coombsville have officially received their organic certifications. This recognition joins our already certified Devitt Vineyard, marking an exciting evolution in our estate’s history. 🌿

These new certifications are part of a much bigger picture for us, adding to the work already happening across our estate and vineyard sites, from regenerative farming certifications and water reclamation efforts to our certified bee- and fish-friendly programs.

June 4–6 marks the return of Auction Napa Valley, a weekend dedicated to supporting health, wellness, and youth education initiatives right here in our community. This year, Darioush, Shahpar, and Sally Khaledi are very proud to serve as honorary chairs.

We’re excited to begin the weekend at the Napa Valley Barrel Auction, hosted at the newly reimagined Robert Mondavi Winery, where guests will have the rare opportunity to connect with winemaking visionaries and taste exceptional vintages straight from the barrel.

For the Live Auction, our featured lot, “Step Into the Extraordinary,” brings together two world-class destinations. In collaboration with Exclusive Resorts, the winning bidders will secure a five-night tropical villa getaway for two couples at Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica, alongside a rare library collection of our crown jewel, Darius II (including an etched 3L Double Magnum), and an intimate dinner hosted by the Khaledi family at our estate.

Each year, Premiere Napa Valley offers a rare glimpse into what Napa Valley vintners are crafting for the future—wines created exclusively for the auction, shaped by place, patience, and intent.

For this year’s Premiere, our winemaking team has crafted a singular Cabernet Sauvignon drawn from Sage Vineyard on Mount Veeder. Cultivated at 1,800 feet above the fog line, this rugged, marine-influenced site yields small, concentrated berries that express remarkable balance, structure, and clarity.

The 2024 vintage reflects both the quiet power of the vineyard and the thoughtful collaboration behind it, a wine rooted in stewardship, precision, and respect for site. Produced in limited quantity and destined for release in October 2027, it stands as a true collector’s expression of Darioush’s Mount Veeder estate.

Registration to bid is now open for our lot, #7. The live auction begins February 21 at 1:00 PM PST, with proceeds supporting Napa Valley Vintners and their ongoing investment in our community.

We’re pleased to introduce Michael Tracy, Vice President of Winemaking at Darioush.

Raised in Sonoma County, Michael’s connection to viticulture began early, shaped by a life among the vines. A graduate of Cornell University in Viticulture and Enology, with an MBA from Sonoma State, his approach balances precision with long-term vision. For nearly two decades, he has crafted wines from California to Mendoza, guided by a deep respect for site and stewardship.

Together with the Khaledi family and our dedicated winemaking team, he'll steward an estate defined by intention, integrity, and longevity—carrying forward our enduring pursuit of distinction.

Please join us in welcoming Michael to the Darioush family.
