Before Gang Family Cellars was a winery, it was a family dream — built around the people, stories, meals, and memories that make wine matter.

On Father’s Day, we raise a glass to the dads and father figures who teach us, challenge us, support us, make us laugh, and remind us what really matters.

A special toast to my dad — for the love, guidance, example, and support that helped shape the man, father, and winemaker I am today. Some gifts last a lifetime, and that kind of influence is one of them.

And a heartfelt toast to my father-in-law, whose presence, humor, and place in our family helped inspire our In-Laws wine — a product line built around the beautiful, funny, layered, and meaningful way families come together.

Whether you’re celebrating with a backyard barbecue, a great dinner, or a quiet glass at the end of the day, we hope there’s love around the table and something special in your glass.

Happy Father’s Day from our family to yours.

Last night at Maison Mura was one of those rare evenings that reminded us why wine matters so much.

Yes, there were incredible bottles, great food, laughter, stories, and more than a few unforgettable pours. But most importantly, there was community.

Our gathering quickly turned to a celebration of our wonderful friend and neighbor Mark Edwards — loyal, kind, generous, and deeply loved. Mark was a regular at Maison Mura and a true fixture of the Miami wine community. His presence, his warmth, and his passion for wine brought people together in the best possible way.

Our community lost Mark suddenly last week, and while his loss is heavy, last night felt like exactly the kind of ongoing tribute he deserved: friends around the table, glasses raised, stories flowing, and everyone a little more grateful for the people wine brings into our lives.

To Mark — thank you for the friendship, the memories, and the many beautiful bottles shared along the way. You will be missed, and you will be remembered.

While I forgot to actually take pictures of people, in true Mark fashion, I’m including some of the many amazing bottles we shared.

Cheers, my friend. 🍷

Some pairings do not need to be complicated.

A chilled bottle of Willow Chardonnay. Fresh oysters. Lemon. Maybe a little mignonette. That is all.

Willow brings bright citrus, floral lift, lively acidity, and a mineral edge that plays beautifully with the briny freshness of oysters. It is elegant without being heavy, expressive without overwhelming the food, and refreshing enough to make you reach for the next sip before the next oyster.

A pairing built on restraint, balance, and the simple pleasure of getting it right.

Willow Chardonnay + oysters. A little luxury, beautifully understated.

Cheers!

A beautiful Memorial Day feast hosted by our friends Jen and Jack Barnes — grilled peaches with burrata, grilled chicken, grilled lamb, Wagyu burgers, and a lineup of wines that made the table even more memorable.

Jen’s favorite, Willow Chardonnay, was right at home with the grilled peaches and burrata, while In-Laws Red Blend, Read The Room Cabernet Sauvignon, and Jack’s favorite, Euphoria Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, carried beautifully through the grilled meats and burgers.

This is exactly how we love to see Gang Family Cellars enjoyed: around a table, with great food, generous friends, and the kind of moments that remind us what wine is really for.

Thank you, Jen and Jack, for sharing these beautiful pictures with us and for making our wines part of your Memorial Day celebration. We love seeing where our bottles end up, so please keep sharing your Gang Family Cellars moments with us — at home, around the table, or wherever good wine brings good people together.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As we gather with family and friends around the table, share meals, open bottles, and enjoy the freedoms we so often take for granted, we are reminded that those moments are only possible because of the courage and sacrifice of others.

From all of us at Gang Family Cellars, thank you to the service members, veterans, and military families whose dedication and sacrifice continue to inspire us.

To celebrate the weekend, we’re also offering 10% off all orders plus complimentary shipping on purchases of 6 or more bottles through Monday with code “MEMORIALDAY” at www.gangfamilycellars.com/shop/

Wishing everyone a meaningful, relaxing, and safe Memorial Day Weekend.

Today is International Chardonnay Day, a wonderful occasion to celebrate one of the world’s most versatile and expressive grape varieties — Chardonnay. From bright and mineral-driven to rich and layered, Chardonnay has an incredible ability to reflect both place and winemaking style, and we’re proud to craft versions that tell our story at Gang Family Cellars.

Whether it’s the vibrant energy of our 2023 Willow Chardonnay from Sonoma or the dexterity and finesse of our 2023 In-Laws Chardonnay from Willamette, a bottle shared with family and friends has a way of turning ordinary moments into meaningful ones.

Here’s to great vineyards, thoughtful winemaking, and the family and friends with whom we share these wines. Happy International Chardonnay Day from all of us at Gang Family Cellars!

May is Military Appreciation Month, and at Gang Family Cellars we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country, along with the families who stand beside them.

We believe some of life’s most meaningful moments are shared around a table with family, friends, and community — freedoms made possible through the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of others.

To all who have served: thank you for your service. We raise a glass in your honor.

From our family at Gang Family Cellars, Happy Mother’s Day! 🍷🍾🥂🙏

Lisa and I spent last week in California working at the winery and checking in on several of the vineyard sites we use.

At the winery, we barrel tasted our 2024 Willow Chardonnay as we prepare for bottling, and we could not be happier with how the wine is developing. We also tasted through the 2025 vintage wines we made for Gang Family Cellars during this past harvest, along with several of our private label projects and custom crush programs where we helped our friends at Syndicate Wines.

While we were in town, we visited vineyard sites we source from for Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Despite a cool start to the growing season, the vineyards are coming alive — tendrils reaching for the trellises, healthy canopies forming, and the beginnings of grape clusters well on their way.

On Monday, we visited the historic van der Kamp Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. After a long, winding drive through the mountains, we arrived at one of California’s most breathtaking vineyard sites, with some plantings dating back to 1952. This is the new site where we are sourcing grapes for the 2026 Izzy Pinot Noir.

We spent the afternoon walking the property with Malia van der Kamp, who now farms this spectacular organic vineyard. After careful consideration, we finalized our clonal selections for the 2026 Izzy: La Tâche and Clone 828. We are incredibly excited to work with fruit from such a storied and distinctive site.

Here are a few photos from van der Kamp Vineyard, several other vineyard visits around Napa and Sonoma, and some moments from our week at the winery.

We’ll be back soon for spring bottling!
