As merchants, negociants and vintners, we are afforded special access to a treasure trove of great w**e and spirits. We live in the Napa Valley and taste between five and six thousand w**es every year. We have longstanding relationships with some of the world’s best grape growers, w**eries and w**emakers in the valley not to mention spirit distilleries worldwide. We often get the early scoop on what’s really happening in the w**eries, vineyards, cellars and distilleries, which means we have access to the truly “great stuff” long before most other sources even know about it. The fact is, we stay ahead of the curve and find the w**e and spirits our customers want before they know they want them. Founder Mark Steven Pope started the company with a scratch pad and a great idea to market select Napa Valley w**es through his iconic catalog. He later expanded his operations to include a w**e bar in downtown Napa that has become a favorite with locals and visitors alike.

Huge news from the W**e Scout team: our very own Director, Rob, is officially a Master Sommelier. 🥂

And this is not a small thing. There are just 299 Master Sommeliers in the world, with only 172 having earned the title through the Americas chapter. So yeah… Rob is kind of a big deal.

We’re incredibly lucky to have him on our team, putting all that hard-earned knowledge to work scouting the best of the best w**es for our customers. 🍷
