**How do you eat a soursop?**

If you've never tried one before, you might be wondering exactly what you're supposed to do with this unusual-looking tropical fruit!

Soursop, also known as guanabana or graviola, has a green exterior and soft, creamy white fruit inside.

The flavor is sweet and slightly tart with a delicious tropical taste.

Soursop also provides vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium, magnesium, and other nutrients.

**Important:** Remove the seeds before eating the fruit. The seeds should not be chewed or eaten.

If you've ever looked at one and wondered how you're supposed to get to the delicious fruit inside, we've got you covered!

Sugar apple, also known as sweetsop, has a naturally sweet, creamy, custard-like texture and is packed with tropical flavor. It also provides vitamin C, dietary fiber, potassium, and vitamin B6.

One important tip: **enjoy the fruit, but remove and discard the seeds.**

Sugar apple is delicious eaten fresh, but you can also use the pulp in smoothies, fruit bowls, popsicles, frozen treats, and other tropical recipes.

Have You Ever Eaten a Longan?

Here's another tropical fruit you may not have tried before!

These little fruits are called longan, and they're one of the fun fruits we grow here at Jessie’s Tropical Fruit Farm.

They may look pretty ordinary on the outside, but crack one open and you'll find beautiful translucent fruit surrounding a dark seed.

Just peel it, remove the seed and eat the juicy fruit!

The flavor is sweet and aromatic, and depending on the variety, you might notice flavors similar to grapes, pear, melon, honey or even caramel.

I made a quick video showing exactly how to eat one because sometimes the hardest part about trying a new tropical fruit is simply knowing what to do with it!
