👻💚 WHO YA GONNA CALL? ECTO COOLER IS BACK! 💚👻

Just in time for spooky season, a little taste of the ’80s has returned to Crosby Bakery!

If you grew up watching Ghostbusters, you probably remember that bright green, ridiculously delicious Hi-C drink with Slimer on the box.

Originally introduced in the late 1980s alongside The Real Ghostbusters cartoon, Ecto Cooler became a childhood favorite with its sweet, tangy, orange-tangerine citrus flavor and unmistakable slime-green color.

Well, we couldn’t let Halloween roll around without bringing back a little nostalgia of our own!

Our Ecto Cooler is BACK for spooky season! All that sweet, citrusy goodness, a little Slimer-inspired magic, and a whole lot of childhood memories in every sip.

Whether you remember the original or you’re trying it for the first time, come grab one before it disappears back into the ghostly realm! 🎃

Today’s lunch special is a classic — Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.

We have a Fall Grilled Cheese today. It’s on sourdough with Havarti Cheese and Prosciutto and finished with fig jam and hot honey.

Tonight, we had the pleasure of catering St. Joseph Hospital’s United in Mission event, a wonderful evening highlighting the many ways St. Joe’s gives back and makes a difference throughout the Greater Nashua community. ❤️

Our relationship with St. Joseph Hospital means so much to us. Over this past year, we’ve come to appreciate not just the people who work there, but the incredible heart behind everything they do for our community.

We absolutely love catering these events. There’s something special about bringing people together over good food, especially when the occasion celebrates people doing so much good for others.

To our friends at St. Joe’s, thank you for continuing to welcome Crosby Bakery & Cafe into your family. We’re grateful for the relationship we’ve built, proud to be a small part of your celebrations, and always happy to serve the people who do so much for our community. ❤️

It’s Sunday. Time for my weekly musings…

Our cruise is winding down. Some people have left already and some are leaving tomorrow, while most go home on Tuesday. We decided to stay on the boat today so I’ve had some quiet time to reflect on this amazing experience. Things I’ve learned:

1. I normally get a little worn out by socializing with strangers but hanging with this group of people has honestly been rejuvenating. Everyone I’ve spoken to has incredible stories. The conversations so easily delve into deeper subjects without any of the small talk dancing that so many of us lean on.

2. I actually like 🚢boats. It’s confirmed 😂. I have been captivated by all the maritime history. I love watching how well the crew works together. I like being rocked to sleep on the waves. I like sitting on the balcony and just watching the water.

3. We have listened to live music literally every night on this cruise. All of the on-board entertainment has been so fun and we saw two bands in Charlottetown. I think we all need a little more live music in our lives. It’s good for the soul.

4. The crew at the bakery and the cafe did so well while we were gone. It’s an amazing feeling to know that my staff really cares and that everything is in good hands. It’s something I’m very grateful for.

5. I’m gonna have to sell a LOT of pastries this year because I have GOT to do this again and cruisin’ ain’t cheap 😂😂😂
