The Nashville Community Fridge is temporarily closed. HOWEVER the pantry is still OPEN and can receive dried goods!
We know there is still a need because people are still stopping by, and we want to make sure our neighbors know that the pantry remains available while we work through this.
An anonymous complaint resulted in a code violation for our host Watershed Wellness COOP and has now impacted two valuable resources for our community, including the removal of the Narcan machine. We’re disappointed and frustrated, but we’re NOT giving up!
We are truly grateful for Watershed Wellness COOP 💛 They have worked with us, supported the fridge, and opened their space to the community for two amazing resources, and we are so thankful for them and their amazing team.
We’re looking for a new home for the fridge where we can keep it accessible to the people who need it while making sure the setup works well for the space and meets the necessary requirements. If you or someone you know may be interested in hosting, please reach out or share this post
