The 1st pintxo I ever ate!❤️

A little bit about the history behind Pintxos on the Porch:

🇪🇸When I was in college I became friends with some exchange students from Spain. In 2016 I spent the summer in Europe to go visit them. I fell in love with Spanish culture & food!

🇪🇸Fast forward to 2017 I was accepted to study at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao, Spain.

🇪🇸I was so in love with not only the Basque culture, but the food as well. The Basque people are so proud of their heritage and show that passion in everything they do. After living in Bilbao in 2017 and quick trips back and forth, I knew it was the place I wanted to call my forever home.

🇪🇸As for many of us worldwide Covid-19 changed my plans. I had an offer to teach English in Bilbao, Spain in June of 2020. But due to Covid-19, that job opportunity was lost.

🇪🇸Since losing the job offer I have missed Spain more than ever! During quarantine I started making pintxos more often to reminisce about my days in Bilbao. It became less of a hobby and more of a passion. I soon turned that quarantine hobby into side business I call Pintxos on the Porch. ❤️
