Slow-braised oxtail marinated for 24 hours in authentic Guyanese cassareep, paired with melted cheese, house pickles, charred pineapple jam, and crisp Caribbean coleslaw between two slices of golden toasted bread.

This is a limited-run chef special crafted specifically for the Black Arts Bash.

THE REUNION IS POSTPONED. THE MEAL IS NOT.

Family,

Sometimes the weather changes the plans, but it doesn’t change the reason we gathered in the first place.

Due to today’s weather, we’re postponing the full Kinfolk & Cousins outdoor activation. The games, music, and family reunion vibes deserve a better day, and we’ll be back with a new date soon.

But family STILL eats.

The Pepper Pot has prepared an incredible Afro-Caribbean menu, and we’d love for the community to come out and support. Starting at 3PM, pull up, grab a drink, connect with family, and enjoy a meal together.

Food will be available on a Pay What You Can basis until sold out.

This may not be the gathering we planned, but it’s still community. It’s still culture. It’s still family.

3PM until sold out.

The Backyard BBQ Burger is on fire! 🍔🔥

A seasoned patty, sweet charred pineapple, heirloom tomato, Pickles, American cheese, and a rich pour of our scratch-made Jerk BBQ sauce, all stacked inside a golden brioche bun seared with love .

This isn’t just a burger, it’s a preview of the exact energy and flavor we’re bringing to the yard .

When the kitchen gets fired up, you already know plates go fast . Where we come from hospitality comes first, and we don’t want anyone left standing in the yard hungry.
That’s why we introduced the “Family Always Eats” ticket.
