Pathways Kitchen's Summer Soiree is more than a dinner. It gives our community to see the impact of your support in action as our youth lead the event and showcase what they've learned in our program.

This week we wrapped up another cohort with a showcase dinner! This group asked one of our Path 4 youth Key to lead them in preparing his recent Thrive Meal menu of baked barbecue chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese. They wrapped up the meal with a delicious blueberry shortcake!
These showcases give our youth the opportunity to show their loved ones the skills they’ve learned in our program and celebrate their promotion from our Path 1 training.

Final plates from yesterday’s culinary challenge for our Path 4 youth! Let us know which one you want to try!
#1: Florence’s Chicken Caprese with roasted potatoes and and Mediterranean veg medley
#2: Key’s Tarragon mustard salmon with Parmesan mashed potatoes and roasted broccolini
#3: Adrian’s Lemon herb chicken with rice pilaf and grilled asparagus with lemon butter
#4: Shermar’s Flank steak with chimichurri served with mashed sweet potatoes and roasted garlic green beans
