COPPER & KINGS is coming to the Nashville Wh***ey Festival on OCTOBER 10!

Copper & Kings takes a different approach to American spirits. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the brand set out not to simply follow the bourbon tradition, but to revive what it calls America’s Original Spirit: brandy. Their philosophy is all about challenging expectations—distilling fresh American fruit in traditional copper pot stills, aging brandy in bourbon barrels, and then turning the process around by finishing bourbon in brandy barrels. No added sugar, no additives, and no shortcuts—just a willingness to experiment while letting the spirit and the barrel speak for themselves.

The three bottles pictured showcase that philosophy from different angles. Copper & Kings Bourbon is a blend of Kentucky straight bourbons aged 5–17+ years and finished for up to three years in American apple brandy barrels, bringing notes of caramel, oak, soft spice and fruit to the wh***ey. American Brandy V.S.O.P. is made from California grapes and aged for six years in American oak bourbon barrels, developing flavors of maple, honey, toasted oak and gentle spice. And Bottled-in-Bond American Apple Brandy starts with Michigan-grown apples and spends six years in former bourbon barrels, creating a full-bodied spirit with bright orchard fruit and a complex, spicy finish.

Copper & Kings will be at the Nashville Wh***ey Festival on Saturday, October 10, pouring these expressions alongside more than 100 other wh***eys and spirits at the Grand Wh***ey Tasting. Women In Wh***ey is a full day dedicated to the women within the wh***ey industry. Our panel consists of 7 women within the industry sharing their experiences and knowledge. We are thrilled to have these master distillers, co-founders, and wh***ey enthusiasts at our event and we look forward hearing to their stories!
