Dinner last night with my love at Audrey. Located in the same space as June (where we did the 16 course tasting menu last Friday), it is the more casual sister restaurant. Of course we added the 4 ounces of foie to the fried apple app as well as the caviar special app. Kevin even tried to add even more caviar to the app until the server told him that it already had a full ounce (we thought it only had 1/2 ounce and Kevin thought that was unacceptable, lol). My man knows how we do dinner out!

We went out to dinner last night to June (https://junenashville.com). We went previously on our way down to FL in 2022. They actually remembered us from last time. It was fabulous! Even better than last visit. SO thoughtful and tastes/ingredients we have never had (shagbark, fresh paw paw, 1214 day aged pillow case ham, Appalachian truffles, bergamot zest, honeysuckle sauce, FRESH Maine uni 🤯) along with fantastic wine pairings with each course. The concept is to use local ingredients, but use their lab to find ways to use them or alter them slightly to create the best of that ingredient. They had fresh Maine uni that they fly in and custom built a tank in their lab to hold them for a week at a time live to then use them live/fresh for each serving 🤤.
