Deadline is June 1st to submit your comments to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regarding the proposed natural gas compression transmission facility in Davidson county. This facility poses major threats to the quality of life of nearby residents as well the budding community of organic and sustainably managed farms in the area. These farms are not only key to Nashville's growing foodie status but also represent Nashville's future food security. The Sierra Club has kindly taken the time and energy to inform our community on current and potential future actions we can take to slow this development down allowing time for the public to weigh in. Please read the article for specifics on contacting our local and federal agencies to let them know how you feel about the proposed facility and how it will affect our community.
