I'm sorry y'all. I can't make it to the market today. I'm nauseated and sweating. Whatever this was, it's taking its time leaving. Hopefully by next Saturday, I will be done with it. Now the van needs to be unpacked. 😵‍💫

Good afternoon family, I hope all is well with you. It has been a crazy 3 weeks concerning my health. All at once and suddenly I was dehydrated with other conditions associated with not drinking enough water! And a food borne illness from a restaurant started the ball rolling. It has been horrible! I don't have a problem drinking water. I just forget while being busy. I have an app and still forget! That's how engulfed I am in my work. I'm paying for it now. The antibiotics make me feel worse than the actual problem it's fixing! Can't eat, only sip fluids. It's been 3 weeks since I had solid food. I must've lost 10 pounds. Though I don't mind the loss, but not this way! Gez!

I don't know why seniors forget to drink water on a regular basis, but evidently it's a thing. It is so important to sustain life.

I will get back to the markets before the regular season ends. Just bear with me. Until then, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Well, some sort of "bug" is going around which landed me in the ER with low potassium among other maladies suddenly and at one time. All of which I've never had before which makes it really weird after getting an absolute great check up. Y'all be on alert. Stay hydrated and try to eat right. I hope to feel better before the weekend.

Good afternoon family,
It's been a hot one hasn't it. We'll, it's our turn for the air conditioner to stop cooling. I'm praying that it nothing serious since the unit is only 3 years old. I hope that it only needs cleaning and I just changed the filters. I have a maintenance plan with a local company and made an appointment yesterday with an eta of 10- 12. It's going on 2pm and no call no show. Not good. We've been battling the heat since 5pm yesterday with health issues. Drinking lots of water but if I can get someone to come out soon, there will be no baking for the market going on. So that means calling another company with an emergency with more money attached to it. I know that we are not the only people with air conditioning issues, but its not good for elderly folks with health issues. I hope someone comes soon!😫🥵😵‍💫

Good morning family!
I hope this post finds you all well. Despite all the goings on personally and worldly, we did wake up this morning and hopefully with a new mindset.

I'm posting to let my beloved and faithful customers know that because of this heat wave, I will not be attending market tomorrow. With a diagnosis of RA, as I previously informed y'all, I'm learning what all affects it and cause flare-ups. Heat, humidity and cold is on the list along with certain foods. If you think menopause is bad, combine it with RA, degenerating discs and bones! What a party! The pain is so bad at times, that it can feel out of body! But despite some sleep deprivation and flipping through the night like a rotisserie chicken, my mind is always in creative mode thinking of the next exciting item to introduce to my customers. The mind is always willing though the flesh is weak sometimes.

But anyway, y'all just bear with me until this heat wave is over and do protect yourself also. This heat is no joke. Let's be thankful for each new morning and love your neighbor. We don't know what they are going through. Be kind and I love you all!

I hop this post finds you well. Rain is on tap for market tomorrow in Nashville, but I'm going anyway.

I havea.few new items available. I've added a spicy black eyed pea mix. It has a little spice but not overbearing. Why wait until New Year's Day to enjoy a healthy meal? Then there's two herbal salts for those that's not so salt conscious, celery salt and cilantro salt. Both are good to add to your seasoning repertoire to add flavor to any dish.

Finally, pineapple mini loaves. Grab your raincoats and umbrellas and meet me at Richland Park Farmer's Market. We will be there rain or shine from 9am to12 noon.
