“The truth is... in the right eyes, you will always be art.”
That line has stayed with me because it reminds me of something we so often forget.
We spend so much energy trying to find the right eyes to see us that we forget to become those eyes for ourselves first.
Before you look for someone else to recognize your worth, your beauty, your depth, your becoming...
Can you?
Can you look at the whole picture?
The flaws.The dips.The divots.The places that still ache.The gifts.The growth.The awkwardness.The words.The words between the words.The silence.
All of it.
Art.
Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is let go of what is asking to leave, not because it wasn’t meaningful, but because it no longer aligns with who we’re becoming. Releasing creates room for what fits, what nourishes, and what can truly see and receive us.
But it begins here.
With becoming the right eyes for yourself.
