Just tried for lunch in Wedgewood-Houston and it absolutely delivered 🌮🔥

Originally a Bay Area favorite with 5 locations in California, this is their first Nashville spot—and they’ve only been open about 5 months. You can tell they’ve brought that same West Coast flavor with them.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, from the meats to the toppings. I went with the carnitas crispy taco (so good—perfect crunch and flavor) and the chicken burrito, which was packed with bold, well-balanced flavor. Both are must-orders 👌

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. And the patio? Perfect setup for a nice weather day—definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

Just stopped by Mr. J’s Original over on Hermitage Ave and WOW… this place delivers 👏

🥪 The pastrami sandwich was stacked, juicy, and packed with flavor
🍔 The cowboy burger? Absolute knockout 🤠🔥
🍟 And those beef tallow fries… insanely fresh with that perfect crispy bite (you can taste the difference 👀)

The vibes were just as good as the food. Super friendly staff and a clean, welcoming spot 🙌

Bonus: They also serve breakfast 🥓🍳 AND they’re coming up on 2 years in business this July 🎉 Let’s show them some love, Nashville!

Louisville might be known for bourbon… but this meal was unforgettable. 🥩🔥

We recently dined at Steak & Bourbon and it easily lived up to the hype. From the atmosphere and service to the cocktails and food, everything was top tier.

We started with the Filet Tartare, S&B Oysters, and Crabmeat Deviled Eggs. All absolutely incredible!

For the main event we went with the Tomahawk Ribeye, and it was perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and one of the best steaks we’ve had in a while. We paired it with creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms, which were the perfect sides.

Even the bread service stood out—fresh bread served with melted tallow butter that was honestly hard to stop eating.

The cocktails were excellent, and the whiskey and wine selection is seriously impressive, which makes perfect sense for Louisville.

If you’re visiting Louisville, this spot should absolutely be on your list.

🔥🍗 Lunch goals = achieved! Today I stopped by Red’s Hot Chicken (115 27th Ave N), and let me tell you… the hardest part was choosing what to order. Their menu is STACKED with crave-worthy options, but I finally went with the Dirty Bird chicken sandwich, and wow 🤯 what a decision!

This beast comes with:
👉 Your choice of heat level (I went HOT 🔥)
👉 House-made pimento cheese 🧀
👉 Hot sauce 🌶️
👉 Comeback sauce (because you will come back 👏)

Everything’s made fresh to order, and you can taste it in every bite. The chicken was juicy, packed with flavor, and that heat level did not disappoint. Pair it with their seasoned fries 🍟 and you’ve got yourself a lunch that hits all the right notes.

🥟✨ Lunch dreams came true at Steam Boys inside (5055 Broadway, Nashville)! This spot always delivers BIG flavor, and today’s lineup did not disappoint 👏

🔥 I dove into:
🥩 Seared Beef Bao (so soft & flavorful)
🌶️ Hot Dumplings (spicy perfection!)
🥟 Seared Dumplings (crispy outside, juicy inside)
🍚 Beef Rice Bowl (comfort in a bowl)

Every single bite = pure happiness 😍 If you haven’t been yet, you’ve got to check them out. Steam Boys has multiple locations across Tennessee, so you’re never too far from dumpling heaven.

👉 Pro tip: order a mix of items so you can try a little bit of everything. Trust me, you’ll thank me later 😏
