I’m set-up for a quick getaway and ready for this beautiful day! Ground beef is on sale! I’ll be gone by 2, so don’t wait until later to come get your beef! The kids have a marching band competition this afternoon that I’ll be headed to. Finally got a new baby from a new bull and color is back in the mix! And, in case you missed it, there has been some special moments from my daughter’s senior year!

Did I mention what’s been going on recently? One thing is homecoming 😉👑

Pretty rare that they let me loose with one of the big dogs, but that’s ok. It’s not my favorite even if it does have air conditioning. No rain in July means a short 3rd cutting, but no worries, there’s probably time for a fourth. Should be done wrapping well before dark. Lots of pretty grapes right now. When I get a chance I’ll make juice and more jelly for market. If you wonder why my jelly is not dark purple, it’s because this is usually my primary grape.

Set-up and ready to go! I decided not to bring the green beans, they didn’t seem to be market quality, but there is a tremendous amount of great produce here today! Come get a steak to go with it all! All steaks are on sale today. The kids just finished up band camp last night, my daughter is head drum major this year and my son is on the marimba right next to her. I look forward to enjoying the shows this fall! It’s hard to believe I have a senior.

Ready to see you all! Sirloin and sizzlers on sale today at Meridian township Farmer’s Market. I made black raspberry jam since I was last here. Creature features in the pictures this weekend to highlight some recent happenings…making hay, shoveling out corn bins, dodging blackbirds, hauling kids, seeing fireworks, I even tried making fire with a bow drill=never a dull moment.

Just finished the second cutting of hay! And 2nd weekend in July is coming up, so I will be at market this weekend. Come...
