Ann R. told us we’re the best place for groups and stocking up, and that’s exactly what we love hearing. With Labor Day weekend right around the corner, now is a great time to stop by and load up on everything you need for cookouts, family gatherings, and get-togethers with friends.

Our TnT burger patties come in a range of sizes to fit any menu, and our whole ribeyes and tenderloins are perfect for those who like to grill their own cuts. Football season is right around the corner, and around here that means grills get fired up and tailgate spreads start coming together. When you are feeding a crowd, beef makes it easy.

We keep TnT burger patties stocked by the case in 4oz, 5.3oz, 6oz, and 8oz, so you can match the size to your crowd. Our Restaurant Pride patties come in 4oz and 5.3oz and cook up quick when you have a lot of folks to feed. If you would rather build your own, we carry extra lean fresh ground beef in ten pound rolls.

Wanting something bigger for the main event? We carry whole ribeyes and whole beef tenderloins that you can take home and cut to your own liking, along with whole brisket when you feel like putting in the smoke time.

If you have not tried a Cotton Blue cheesecake yet, now is a good time to change that.

Cotton Blues Cheesecake Company is a Mississippi original. The recipe was first created by pastry chef Shaun Davis at age 15 in small-town Mississippi, and after he partnered with restaurant owner Chris Ortego, they began selling it at Cotton Blues restaurant in Hattiesburg in 2012. Word spread fast.

These cheesecakes are handmade in small batches using only seven main ingredients, including Philadelphia cream cheese and pure vanilla extract, and each one weighs in at four pounds. Cotton Blues has been named one of the Best Cheesecakes in America by Delish and MSN.

Their tagline says it all:
Mississippi Made, New York Approved.

Our fresh never-frozen catfish is a customer favorite, available by special order in a 30 lb box. We also carry catfish in miscuts, fillets, split fillets, and whole, in 15 lb or 4 lb boxes, so you can get exactly the cut that fits your kitchen or your fryer.

Looking for something a little different? Our redfish fillets come in a 10 lb box, our basa fillets in a 15 lb box, and our salmon and tuna fillets are available in convenient 8oz portions, sold individually or by the case of 20 individually wrapped fillets. The backpacks are packed and the school year is officially underway. From all of us at Hicks-Chiks, we hope every family in the Miss-Lou has a great year ahead.

Busy school nights get a whole lot easier when supper is already handled. We keep ready to heat and serve casseroles on hand like baked potato, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli cheese and rice, along with frozen favorites like chicken and dumplings, lasagna, and chicken and sausage gumbo. For the kids, we stock breaded chicken tenders, nuggets, and popcorn chicken.
