Good afternoon everyone. I would like to make a request of the hunters that follow this page. As season is quickly approaching means that most of us have thought about what we are going to do with the meat in our freezers left over from the previous seasons to prepare for the upcoming season. I am asking that if you have meat left over and need to clean the freezer out so that you have room for this upcoming seasons harvest to get in contact with me so that I can distribute meat to individuals or families that are truly in need. I would love to be able to donate to as many people as I possibly can with everyone’s help but I don’t have the room to house the vast amount of meat needed to do so which limits me to only being able to distribute a little at a time. Below is a list that I have compiled that I feel would help with the issue of not being able to house a large quantity of meat.
1. Must be struggling financially to be able to keep food in said household.
2. Elderly.
3. Disabled.
4. Without a job or stable living quarters as a result of not having a job. Said individuals will also be directed to the proper channels to get assistance in other ways to be able to provide for themselves.
5. Single parent with children, fixed income and TRULY not able to keep food on the table and/or able to pay bills.
This does not include individuals who can provide for themselves sick as being able to get a job but refuse to. Not individuals who struggle with addictions due to rehabilitation facilities being readily available for said circumstances.
Yes, I understand that this narrows down the field of individuals who truly will fit the criteria but I ask that individuals understand that I will not be able to provide meat to every individual seeking this assistance and this is why I feel it is best to provide to said individuals who TRULY need this assistance.

I also want to thank those who did donate last season because y’all truly made a HUGE difference in the lives of several families in Natchitoches Parish/City and it meant the world to those individuals!
