The attempt to resurrect our original page (Winding Creek Farm) from 2008 was unsuccessful due to events beyond our control. This new page reflects the last ten years of our continuing journey to blend rural life on our continually changing farm with full time careers off the farm. Life is never boring, to say the least. In the past ten years our nest became smaller in some ways, and larger in oth

ers. We've watched our first pecan trees become productive and have become much more proficient at grafting trees. We're continuing to add new varietals of pecans and added to our 30 year old asparagus plantings, and are continuing to experiment with figs, strawberries, greens, tomatoes, and many other vegetables such as heirloom native corn and peanuts.
