Did you know that the color of the eggshell has nothing to do with the nutrition inside?
White eggs, brown eggs, green eggs, blue eggs are all nutritionally the same they each have the golden yellow yolk, and an albumen (egg whites). one is not more nutritional than the other. the shell color is determined by the breed of chicken. So, in this case and egg is an egg no matter the color.
One 50g egg (medium) contains; 4.8g total fat, 1.6g saturated fat, 186mg cholesterol (the good kind), 71mg sodium, .4g total carbohydrate, .2g sugar, 6.3g protein, 1mg Vitamin D, 28mg Calcium, .9mg iron, and 69mg potassium. with a total of 72 calories. this holds true to any color egg equal to that 50g or medium size egg 😊
