A little wild hair and a whole lot of personality! 🐣🤎

This adorable Naked Neck Silkie (Showgirl) is showing off that signature fluffy body, bare neck, and fabulous little hairdo! 😂🐔

One of the things we love most about Silkies is how each one has its own unique look and personality. No two are quite alike, and that’s part of their charm!

🖤🩶 Well, hello there, handsome! 🐓😍

Somebody clearly knows he’s got the looks! Our gorgeous black and silver Silkie rooster is out here showing off his fancy feathers and acting like he owns the whole farm. And honestly, with looks like those, we might just let him! 😂👑

That beautiful contrast of black and silver feathers is something else! He’s definitely one of our handsome little gentlemen. 🖤

Just a little buff beauty soaking up the sunshine ☀️🐥💛

This sweet buff Silkie hen was looking extra fluffy today, so obviously she needed her picture taken. 😂 That p**f is serious business!

There’s just something about those fluffy little Silkie faces that gets me every time. 🥰

🐥 THE DNA RESULTS ARE IN… AND WE HAVE ALL GIRLS! 💕🎀

We DNA tested our 2 day old chicks, and somehow we hit the jackpot — EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. IS A GIRL! 😂🐔

No boys this time… just a whole flock of future egg layers and pretty little ladies! 💕🥚

We couldn’t be happier with the results, and of course we had to share the proof! 📋🧬

🏆 WE BROUGHT HOME A RIBBON!! 🏆

Today was a pretty exciting day for us here at Silkie Chicks! We attended our very first American Bantam Association poultry show, and our beautiful White Naked Neck Silkie walked away with a ribbon - Best of Variety!

We went into our first show ready to learn, meet other poultry lovers, and see how our birds stacked up, so coming home with a ribbon makes this first experience even sweeter. 🥹

We’re incredibly proud of this fluffy little bird and excited to keep learning, improving, and raising beautiful, healthy Silkies.

Not bad for our first trip to the show ring! 😉🏆🐔
