➡️🌻 A NEW CHAPTER FOR FREEDOM ACRES FARM 🌻

As many of you know, I work part-time as a server, and unfortunately, the hurricane has taken my job away from me for the time being.

It’s been a difficult few days of cleaning up, picking up the pieces, and trying to get our lives back to normal. But through it all, I keep reminding myself that sometimes the unexpected pushes us toward something we were meant to do all along. ❤️

This weekend, I’m officially launching the Freedom Acres Farmstand! 🐓🥚🍪🌻

Thankfully, my heart has been set on doing this for OVER A YEAR!!!! and I’ve been working on building my stand for weeks before the hurricane happened. Coincidental?

What started as a dream is becoming something real, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with all of you. From our farm-fresh eggs to homemade sourdough goodies and baked treats, I’m putting my heart into building something special for my family and our community.

I don’t know exactly what this next chapter will look like, but I know I’m going to work hard, trust God, and give it everything I have.

If you’ve ever bought from us, shared a post, encouraged me, or simply cheered us on, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every bit of support means more than you know.

I hope our little farmstand becomes more than just a place to buy eggs and baked goods. I want it to be a place where neighbors support neighbors, kindness is always welcome, and everyone feels like they’re taking a little piece of farm life home with them. 🤍

Here’s to rebuilding, new beginnings, and growing something beautiful from the unexpected.

Due to hurricane Isaias we will be closed until further notice.

Our farm took on a lot of damage, and 75% of the entire area of Navarre has no power. I honestly don’t even know where to start to rebuild.

Two of our giant oak trees have to be cut down, which I didn’t think I’d even have to worry about due to their age and size.

Our roof is in pieces everywhere.

We have interior leaks.

We have absolutely no fencing.

My garden is damaged.

Chickens are doing fine thankfully, their coop does have some damage though.

We also have no generator, so we are losing all of our food, too.

We appreciate your support and understanding.

We will rebuild….

One of my favorite things about having a little farm here in Navarre, FL…

I absolutely LOVE when tourists and visitors find my farm and reach out! 🥹

Getting a message from someone who is traveling to Navarre and says, “We love supporting local—do you have eggs?” honestly makes my heart so happy.

It’s such a cool feeling knowing that people who are visiting our town somehow found our little rainbow egg farm and are choosing us over a big-box store.

It reminds me why I started Freedom Acres Farm in the first place. My dream is slowly becoming something that connects us with people from all over, and that is exactly what I’ve dreamed of. Community with a sense of belonging.

I want Freedom Acres Farm to be a place people can rely on and trust. A place where you know the eggs came from happy chickens, the bread and goodies were made by hand, and the person behind it actually cares about what they’re putting into your hands.

And more than anything, I want people in our community—and even those just passing through—to feel like they brought a little piece of farm life home with them. 🌱🥚🍞 🍪

So to everyone who has found us while visiting Navarre, ordered eggs, bought goodies, stopped by the farm stand, shared our page, or simply sent us a message…

I’m taking a Beekeeping Course through the University of Arkansas Division of Agricultural Research & Extension today! So exciting. 🐝

This course is giving us the knowledge and training to properly care for honey bees, understand hive management, and learn what it takes to become responsible beekeepers.

Once I complete this course, it will give our farm a real certification to be a beekeeper, and our next step will be registering our apiary with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) so we can officially begin our beekeeping journey here in NW Florida.

Saving and supporting our pollinators is something I’m extremely passionate about, and I’m looking forward to being able to offer our community fresh honey alongside our farm eggs and homemade goodies. 🍯

Freedom Acres Farm is slowly becoming the little homestead I’ve dreamed about.
