Over 3 days time at the Bolivar Strawberry Festival, we went through 72 lbs of fresh cut and whole strawberries, 2 gallons of hot fudge, 6 gallons of vanilla ice cream, 3 lbs of crushed pretzels, 9 containers of vanilla yogurt, 14 cans of whipped cream, 2 lbs of granola, 2 huge bottles of strawberry sauce, and 53 strawberry fry pies.

It’s Strawberry Season in Ohio and boy will The Little Glass Kitchen have them ready for you to enjoy at the Bolivar Strawberry Festival. We’ve even tackled making our own strawberry sauce to put on the sundaes we’ll be serving!!!

We’ll also have nachos and cheese, root beer floats, peanut butter brownie sundaes, fresh veggie boats and dip, fresh fruit and yogurt cups with granola, water, soda and gatorade, and our 15” popsicle sleeves!

This Friday May 29th from 11-3, The Little Glass Kitchen will be at 21 Tire And Auto in Navarre, Ohio.
This week we’re offering all of our usual hot dogs like kraut, slaw, and coneys as well as ground beef tacos, walking tacos, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and bacon cheeseburgers. Don’t be scared to make any of them a double. Have you tried our regular or peanut butter brownie sundaes, our our strawberry sundae with homemade sauce? What about our flavored iced coffees?

Warmer weather is slowly creeping up, and with that, Bowen Appètit Catering & Concessions is just about ready to hit the road again with purpose. We spent the first 2 years serving customers from a tent and tables, when by chance we came across “The Little Glass Kitchen.” We simply couldn’t pass it up. With growth comes change, and changes bring a whole new set of challenges. In our 4th year now, we’re headed into food truck season looking forward to meeting these new opportunities head on. We have some 1st Fridays, Festivals, the Drag Strip, Horse Shows, Sporting Events, Car Shows, some Drop and Go’s and even a Wedding Reception lined up for a total of 103 appearances!!! That seems like a crazy schedule for someone who’s supposed to be retired. We’re seriously committed to delivering bites of deliciousness and can’t wait to see where all this is headed. This year we’re planning to include a wide variety of weekly specials on our menu and we’ll also be rotating some of our regular items in and out so you won’t be seeing the same old things every week.

The Little Glass Kitchen is almost ready for 2026!
We can’t wait to get out there with our new menu when this weather finally warms up. We’re looking at May.
Unfortunately some items have been discontinued for not doing as well as we wished. New items are being offered in hopes they will keep folks coming back for more, and we’ve obviously kept some tried and true favorites. We are so excited to add seasonal specials and will be offering even more homemade things this year.

Here’s an open invite to come out and try some of our specialty menu items & listen to the live acoustic sounds of Half the Nation. Please join us on NOVEMBER 8th STARTING AT 5:30 at the Cherry Road Winery where every bottle of wine is made on site and you can also try the various craft beers.
