Mud Run Farm Mud Run Farm is a certified organic family farm located in Navarre, OH We have been farming since 1981. Our farm consists of 10 acres of vegtables, grains.

Our team of Percherons Tom, Hank, and May and 1 spunky Belgian Tiny, are used in 90% of the farming. fruit trees and plenty of roaming room for our free range chickens.

🐐❤️ This year we took a leap and brought our goat meat to two farmers markets. The response has been amazing, and it means so much to know our community values what we do.

But farming isn’t without its bumps… our commercial freezer broke down, and repairs will cost $3,000. Without it, we can’t process more goats—which puts goat meat on pause.

We’re asking for a little help to get back on track. Every dollar brings us closer to repairing the freezer and returning to the markets with the products you’ve come to love.

🌾🐴 Did you know we use draft horses to help us farm?

Yes, we have tractors too — but sometimes, horses just make more sense. Here’s why:
1. Our small farm has lots of trees, and horse-drawn equipment fits into narrow spaces better than a tractor.
2. Horses help us minimize soil compaction, which protects soil health.
3. Horse drawn equipment can be easier to repair, no engined

It’s not about doing things the old way — it’s about choosing what works best for our farm and our soil.
