On Monday our fourth and final Funk officially became an employee at the CAFE!!! Pretty cool that we’ve had the privilege and honor to provide a place of employment for all four of our kids now:)

This is Mason, our oldest son who served in the Army in Alaska right after high school and has worked in Destin the last few years doing jet ski dolphin tours and pontoon boat rentals. He is taking advantage of his GI Bill benefits and moving to Miramar, north of Miami to attend the Universal Tech Institute at the end of October in the airplane mechanic program. Since his seasonal job is winding down, he asked if we were looking for any extra help and since we recently lost one of our dishwashers it was perfect timing!!

And yes he is Brett’s mini me:) This is what my awesome hubby looked like in his 20’s with a bunch of dark hair:) 🤣 All the glory to God:)

Our precious rescue dog Shaggy had his surgery this morning for a large mass on his ear. Please keep him in your prayers...

Our precious rescue dog Shaggy had his surgery this morning for a large mass on his ear. Please keep him in your prayers:) He was saved by the Lord when he was just a few weeks old in a trash can filled with worms and dehydrated. Believing this mass will be nothing to worry about:)

He is home now and resting and now we wait 10 days for the results. I laid hands on him and prayed over him in the car in the name of Jesus that he is healed!!! Believing he still has a lot of time left in him to be with his brother Scooby and our family:) All the glory to God:)
