It was in 2016 that the COLD SPRINGS FIRE threatened our dear Skyranch... this is the view form Sugarloaf road. The Skyranch is located at the top edge of this burn area.

The forest is now coming back and the views we have, due to the fire are tremendous.... so much better than before.

You know you live in heaven when . . .

I had to pinch myself, seeing this site from my hot tub this morning. A herd of about 45 elk, casually strolling up the valley to the crest with a snowy Kiowa Peak as the back drop.

I've lived in this home for now 31 years and, until the Cold Springs Fire, had zero views - only 360 forest up close. Once the fire took the valley and ridges, I cleared and thinned the trees on my property to reveal this view.
