Pictures of most of the does enjoying the nice weather! I decided to give them some animal crackers today, I don’t give them out often, usually just as a special treat.
Let’s just say the neighbors definitely saw me throwing crackers at goats chaotically in order to get away and out of the pen🤣🥰 I’m sure everyone can relate lol!

I have our 2023 breeding schedule out, a lot of our does have been bred already. BOTH of the bucks i’m using this year have EEEE 92 dams and incredible genetics. So i’m looking forward to those doelings! Doe reservations are OPEN, I added 6 or 7 new doe pages and our 2 new bucks as well. The website definitely needed an update.

Dots a very deep bodied, wide doe, that’s pretty correct in the feet and legs. Very friendly and has lots of personality. She’ll need some work on the stand being a FF but isn’t too bad for the short time i’ve been milking her.
Udder pic is only about 24 hour after freshening, so far i’m pretty happy with her! If I wasn’t trying to keep numbers down she’d be staying. These cuts are killing me!

Brought home some new additions yesterday and i’m really liking this little doe kid 🥰 She’s such a little beefcake, im looking forward to getting her in the show ring! We also got her twin brother (not pictured), I was originally just on the list for a doe kid but ended up getting both. 😅 He *may* be available at a later date, if anyones looking for these lines, im tempted to use him on a few does first. But right now i’m just looking forward to having some more Fall Creek lines in the herd 🥰

First up is Aubrey’s Acres Keep Me Joyful VVEV 87, She’ll be 145 days in 4 days! This is one of my favorite breedings and im really hoping for at least one doe kid! 🤞💓
Joyful has great teat placement and a strong medial, as well as being very correct overall. She was 9th place junior kid at 2018 ADGA Nationals. I don’t have updated udder pics of her so i’m really looking forward to getting some this year!
Blitzen has a few daughters on the ground that will be freshening in 2022. He’s a long, level buck with strong general appearance and a strong front end.

Fenview NK King of the Night (GCH Agape Oaks DD My Shadow VEEE 90 X Castle Rock Niken)
I’m super excited to be adding more Castle Rock genetics, Niken has produced beautiful daughters so far and we’re looking forward to seeing them freshen. Kings dam Shadow is still going strong at 11 years old and has continuously out produced herself over the years.
I already can’t wait for 2022 breeding season! This guy will be paired with quite a few does 🙂
Super sad making this post! We lost Aubreys Acres Speed Racer VEE 90 on Thursday.
A few weeks after Speed came to us I noticed he seemed to have trouble eating and was on the thinner side, it turned out he had some missing/broken teeth. The broken teeth caused an infection that ended up damaging his kidneys. I’m very glad we were able to find out what was wrong and try to give him the best life possible while he was with us! We started getting his weight under control but he started going down hill again a few weeks ago. I seriously LOVE my bucks and he’ll be missed greatly in the buck pen.
We have five does confirmed bred to Speed and all doe kids will be retained. I’m extremely grateful we have a handful of does bred to him!

Juniper is VERY friendly, would do great in a smaller herd with kids to love on her. She was a FF this year and had a decent udder, her kid passed no fault of her own so she’s now dry.

Twix was 8th place 2 yr old milker at 2018 ADGA Nationals. One of her daughters was 14th senior yearling at 2021 ADGA Nationals, both of her doe kids shown have earned dry legs. Twix’s dam was also 9th place 3 year old at 2017 ADGA Nationals. Lots of consistency in this line!

This is Rosasharn Justice Lil’ Boo VVEE 89, at 6 years old 🥰 This girl has one junior leg and a milking leg, can’t wait to get her in the ring again next year! Maybe she can even earn that last leg 😉
Yesterday we made a trip to Minnesota and came back with quite a few new additions, a few more then we planned 😅
The first introduction is Haycreeks Hooligan Twix, Both of her doe kids that have been shown this year have earned their dry legs. One was brought to 2021 ADGA Nationals and placed 14th Senior Yearling!!
Twix’s dam also placed 9th in the 3 year old class at 2017 ADGA Nationals! Twix was on her breeders show string in previous years and almost always placed 1st in her class.
Twix had a leg injury end of last year so can no longer be shown, which is why I had the opportunity to bring her home 😉 But I was impressed with all of the kids I’ve seen out of her so far, so we’ll be heavily retaining and will be very selective of where her kids end up.
I also brought home a new buck, Shere Country Ravens Brew (Fall Creek Tarragon X Sugar Moon Zenaida) and a few other does as well. Ravens Brew will be bred to five does still this year! I’ll be updating my website with more info in the next week or two!

I’ve used this guy on all of the does I want him bred to for the year so it’s time for him to find a new herd. I love love LOVE his pedigree and he should have some beautiful uddered daughters with great production! His only daughter from this year has been shown as a junior and has done very well!
I’ll be retaining all of his daughters next year, they’ll be on milk test as FFs and shown heavily.

Her dam finished this year at her 2nd or 3rd show (and she’s a GREAT milker!!) I just love these genetics!
Heartbreaker has fit right into the herd so far, She’s still pretty young yet, but once she’s ready to breed she’ll be bred to Shere Country Ravens Brew (Fall Creek OP Tarragon X Sugar Moon Zenaida VEEV 89) Who we’ll be bringing home in the next few weeks, but that’s an introduction for another time 😉
I feel so blessed to have been able to add all of these great genetics to the herd this year, I already can’t wait for next kidding season!
