This week, we’re releasing something we’ve been excited about for a while - our collaboration West Coast Pilsner with our friends at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company.

“The Lion Sheeps Tonight” (5.7% abv) features Simcoe, Centennial, HBC 638, and Amarillo hops making this modern beer style the perfect blend of crisp and tropical. Luke, Nate, and Josh from 3 Sheeps came to Neenah last week to get their palettes on the final product, help on the canning line, and share some wisdom.

We walked away from this packaging day with more than the satisfaction of a Mihm’s Charcoal Grill Menasha burger and another beer to share with all of you, but the clear value in these relationships and why we do what we do.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and co-worker, Connor Eiff.

Connor was one of those rare people who made every room better just by being in it. He knew more facts about more things than anyone we've ever met, and always had an interesting story to share. We were lucky to have him behind the bar and in our lives.

We invite everyone who knew and loved Connor to join us for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, September 8th from 2:00 - 7:00PM in the Lagerhouse Room at our Wauwatosa taproom. The space will be reserved for his family, friends, co-workers, and anyone whose life he touched.

Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like. We'll share stories, play the music he loved, and celebrate the person he was and the memories he gave us.

We’re working on getting these organized in our merch vault. They will go on sale in the Neenah taproom starting Monday, September 7th.

Release 2 of 2 this week is Mile of Munich - our Dunkel Lager that is a staple to our annual celebration of German beer, and a seasonal that Lion’s Tail loyalists are always waiting for.

Mile of Munich (5.4% abv) features premium, imported German Pilsner and Munich malts - balanced gently with German Mittlefruh hops, and cold-lagered for an exceptionally clean finish. This beer is smooth and malty with toasted bread notes and a hint of dark chocolate.

Mile of Munich will be available on draft and in 4 packs to-go starting this Friday at 12pm 🍻

Release 1 of 2 this week is a special one.

“Fox Valley Strong” Pale Ale featuring Wisconsin-grown hops is here. Earlier this month, eight Fox Valley breweries came together to brew something meaningful. 100% of the proceeds from this effort will go directly to the United Way Fox Cities Tornado Relief Community Response Fund to help our neighbors.

Grain for the brew was provided by Valley Cooperative Association, Hops from Wisconsin Hop Exchange, and Yeast from Lallemand Brewing.

Starting this Friday, September 4th, you can find “Fox Valley Strong” on tap at our Neenah location and all of the participating breweries listed below.
